Power
Legacy features underground, concrete-encased power and communications lines to ensure ultimate reliability. Independent electricity providers and substations are also available to serve companies in Legacy, delivering crucial redundancy to today's technology-driven business.

Roads
Above ground, roads in and around Legacy can support approximately 150,000 cars per day — ample capacity for traffic now and in the future. The major roads in Legacy are six lanes wide, and traffic signals are equipped with sensors monitored by the City of Plano's traffic department to ensure smooth and safe traffic flow.

Communications
A fiber-optic network large enough to encircle the world five times, and powerful enough to run a small city, provides instantaneous, global connectivity to members of the Legacy community. It also allows simultaneous use of all types of communications. The availability of multiple communications providers offers Legacy corporate residents highly-competitive solutions for communications networks.

Advanced voice and data communications are provided to the Legacy community by diversely-routed fiber-optic providers such as Verizon, MCI, Southwestern Bell and AT&T. Each access provider is connected to Inter-Exchange Carriers (IXCs) such as AT&T, MCI, Sprint, Broadwing, Level 3, WilTel and Qwest. Points of Presence (POPs) are located throughout the Dallas-Fort Worth area. Within Legacy, AT&T maintains a Point of Presence, and Verizon operates a central office location.

Security
To ensure the safety and security of your employees and information, Legacy is equipped with the capability to support even the most advanced security systems. The underground, concrete-encased power and fiber-optic communications lines provide the assurance that even in a storm or other above-ground disturbance, your security is not compromised. Legacy also features onsite emergency response. The Plano Fire and Police Departments share a 12,000-square-foot station located within Legacy. An additional fire station will be constructed west of the Dallas North Tollway in the near future.
