In the works

There is a tremendous amount of activity happening in the Legacy community. Numerous companies and organizations are moving into the area and new structures are appearing in every direction. It’s an exciting time. Below are just a few of the upcoming announcements and works in progress:

• Children’s Medical Center Groundbreaking took place Wednesday, October 26th. Visit www.childrens.com for more details.
• Southwest Corporate Federal Credit Union had their ribbon-cutting ceremonies at their new headquarters on Tuesday, October 25th. Learn more about their new location by visiting www.swcorp.org/Moving.asp 
• The Lakes Restoration Project is progressing nicely with over 60 thousand cubic yards of silt removed from the north lake and work on the south lake to be completed by year-end.
• Construction continues on the 326-unit Lakeside at Legacy Village with first occupancy in early December 2005 and completion in early May 2006. Plans for Phase IV are underway with construction scheduled to begin in January 2006.

• The Villas at Legacy Town Center have sold out Phase l and have begun taking reservations for the next phase at Legacy Town Center North. Learn more by visiting www.goodmanhomes.com
• A new 207,000 square foot, 8-story office building called Lincoln Legacy I located on the corner of Tennyson and the Dallas North Tollway is under construction. The estimated completion date is August 2006.
